Hello
I'm Cameron. I've been playing piano for over 25 years and teaching for 15. I studied piano and musicology with Grace at UNSW (Bachelor of Music, Honours), and completed AMEB up to a Certificate of Performance.
Concurently I'm a media and communications professional with experience in professional development, which I apply to my teaching though goal-setting and a long-term view to nurture students and their musical ambitions.
My Story
I've loved piano ever since I started learning the instrument as a child. That love has transformed over time, starting with curiosity and excitement, the trials and tribulations of course) of progressing through grades, to the freedom and pleasures of pursuing my own musical path throughout university and beyond.
Over this time I've dabbled across various styles, from classical, contemporary, to rock, and singing in a choir and band. Even with my time now balanced by work and teaching, I remain committed to learning and development when I can.
For me teaching is a vocation, and I seek to pass my experiences down to my students to anyone who wishes to learn, and to hopefully instill a passion for music along the way.
